Community Guidelines
Keeping SocialMix safe and welcoming for all Zimbabweans.
1. Respect Every User
Treat everyone with dignity. Harassment, bullying and discrimination will not be tolerated.
2. No Fraud or Scams
Do not deceive other users for financial gain. Fake listings and payment fraud will result in immediate permanent ban and possible reporting to authorities.
3. No Hate Speech
Content targeting people based on race, tribe, religion, gender or nationality is not allowed.
4. No Violence or Threats
Do not threaten, intimidate or incite violence against any person or group.
5. Marketplace Safety
Only list genuine products and services. Agree on payment terms before transacting. Meet in safe public places for exchanges. Report suspicious sellers immediately.
6. Authentic Listings Only
Do not post fake or misleading listings. Photos must represent the actual product. Prices must be fair and clearly stated.
7. Safe Communication
Do not share personal financial details in chat. Do not send unsolicited messages or spam. Block and report anyone making you uncomfortable.
8. Respect Local Laws
Do not use SocialMix to facilitate any activity that is illegal under Zimbabwean law or international law.
9. How to Report
Use the report button on any message, listing or profile. Our team reviews all reports. You can also email theobotdev12@gmail.com.
10. Enforcement
Violations of these guidelines may result in:
- Warning and content removal
- Temporary account suspension
- Permanent account ban
- Reporting to law enforcement authorities where required
Child Safety Standards
SocialMix has a zero tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) content of any kind.
We are committed to:
- Immediately removing any CSAE content
- Reporting violations to national and international authorities including the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC)
- Permanently banning accounts that share or promote such content
- Cooperating fully with law enforcement
How to report child safety concerns:
- Use the in-app report button on any message, profile, or content
- Email us directly at: theobotdev12@gmail.com
- We respond to all child safety reports within 24 hours
SocialMix complies with all relevant child safety laws and reports to regional and national authorities as required by law. This policy applies to all users in all countries where SocialMix is available.
